Return & Refund Policy

Petco Wholesale supplies authentic, brand-name pet products to B2B buyers.
Because these are wholesale orders, our return & refund policy is different from retail stores.

We aim to ensure transparency, safety, and compliance for all buyers.

1. No Returns on Wholesale Orders

Due to the nature of B2B distribution:

  • We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse.

  • We do not accept returns for incorrect product selection.

  • All sales are considered final once shipped.

This protects product integrity, safety, and compliance standards.

2. Damaged or Defective Products

If items arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process your claim, we require:

  • Order number

  • Photos/videos of damaged items

  • Photos of packaging and shipping label

If verified, Petco Wholesale will:

  • Replace the damaged items OR

  • Issue store credit on your account

Refunds are not guaranteed unless approved after inspection.

3. Missing or Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong SKU or missing quantities:

  • Report within 48 hours

  • Provide photos and packing list

We will quickly correct the issue with a replacement or store credit.

4. Amazon FBA Returns

Amazon customer returns are not eligible for refunds or replacements by Petco Wholesale.
We only support:

  • Invoice corrections

  • Documentation re-issuance

  • Supply chain clarification

5. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before processing begins.
Once an order is:

  • In packing

  • In FBA prep

  • Shipped
    You cannot cancel.

6. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing time: 3–7 business days

  • Refund method: original payment method or store credit

7. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened packages

  • Perishable pet food

  • Supplements

  • Treats

  • Litter

  • Health & hygiene products

  • Clearance or bulk-discount orders

These restrictions ensure product safety and freshness for all buyers.
